How To Make The Perfect 1st Birthday Invitation- Basic Invite

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine

Stress has taken over. I have been eating a lot of carbs and staying up late and drinking Starbucks! All because of a one year old birthday party.  In the day of Pinterest there is a lot of pressure on parties!

Im not sure if you are like me when it comes to hosting parties but I hate it. I hate the planning, the preparation and the day of last minute things because lets admit no matter how much you plan you will always have something last minute that will come up!

Thankfully, I knew about Basic Invite because I came across this company after I ordered my wedding invitations from another company and swore I would use this company because of all the unlimited colors you can use for your invitations.  Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 160 different color options.  So you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.

Also, because I am a little bit of a control freak the custom sample option caused my stress level to go down a little. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that will allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place an order for 500 invitations. This was an amazing feature because I have ordered invitations from other companies and the way it printed was not how it looked on the screen while designing them.
Well my daughters invitation and even envelope screams pink! I mean it’s only right, especially because the party is a princess theme! Basic Invite is just a colorful with their envelopes as we are with our invitations.  Customers can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to their envelopes so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened.  All of our envelopes are also peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed without having to lick each one.

Basic Invite has an invitation or stationary for every event WeddingsBirth AnnouncementGraduation Announcements and Birthdays! I wish planning everything for this first birthday party was as easy as ordering my invitations! The party is this weekend and I still have to figure out food and how to make this food semi healthy! I also thought the picture of the birthday girl is fitting!

  1. I am a an of keeping invitations simple. I used to spend lots of money making the PERFECT invitation, but then I realized I was spending a fortune and no one actually kept them 🙁

  2. I am like you and don’t really love to plan parties. It is so stressful. I would love to use a company like this that sends a printed sample. How awesome!

  3. I have never heard of this company before! I love what you showcased here! In my opinion, the simpler the better!

  4. Not the biggest fan of hosting because I’m usually not sure how to manage that time while guest visit. What I’ve found to be most important is to have people over who you truly love. Also, food. Lots and lots of food because you can never go wrong keeping guests tummies full!

  5. Oh so cute!! I am the worst when it comes to remembering to make invitations, so we always end up with something easy and last minute! I need to start making more of an effort, as I am sure they will be wonderful keepsakes when the littles are older 🙂

  6. I love the look of these invitations. We never really go overboard with the looks of our invites to events and so these would be perfect.
