5 Ways To Master Your Morning

5 Ways To Master copy

Someone once told me plan your day the night before. The night before your the CEO and the morning your the employee. That stuck with me because I have to go to sleep knowing what is on my to-do list for the next day and if you know me, well then you know I am a planner type of girl!

I truly believe that the way you start your day off, will set the tone for the rest of your day and who wants to start off on the wrong foot?! After having 2 kids life especially my mornings had a lot of adjusting to get use to and I never really know how much craziness will consist with getting 3 of us out the door.

After incorporating these 5 things to my morning routine I have felt so much better and just knowing you can take on whatever the universe brings to you makes your day!

Morning

    1. Green Tea vs. Coffee- I love tea but I am a bigger coffee lover. When I know I need clarity for my day, I will often drink Green Tea. Green Tea makes you smarter so I have heard! Coffee wins on days when my 10 month old keeps me up at night.
    2. Β Meditate or Pray- I like to sit in total silence in the mornings. I love to gather all of my thoughts and all of my intentions. I usually have some pretty big goals to fulfill that day, so I meditate and pray to get proper guidance through my day!
    3. Early Rise- I am the last one in my house to go to bed, and the first one to wake up. Not because I have to but because I want to make my cup of tea or coffee and meditate before any rug-rats get up! I once read that super successful people get up at 4am, but I am not that type of person. I try to wake up at 5am and hope that no one will get up!
    4. Uplifting music- It’s a rule that we must have a dance party in the morning while getting up. This not only puts the kids in a better mood, but I love good music and it puts this mama in a better mood! Spotify has some amazing playlist to start your day off right!

5. To-Do List- I am a list, planner, list on the phone type of person. I believe a person can never have too many lists! Write of 5 things that is a priority to get done for the day and pick your 3 biggest goal you have to crush them and get it done!

I have implemented this in my life and have been in such a great mood! I can’t guaranteed that this will stop my kids from having 2 breakdowns before we leave the house but NAMASTE!

  1. Absolutely! I started taking 20 minutes to quickly clean up the house after the children messed up everything. I hate cleaning up so many times in a day. I got it down to twice. I like waking up to a clean house.

  2. Oh, I so agree with this! My mornings make or break my day! I try to get up before the rest of my family, and pray and have my quiet time. Not always possible, but I make it a priority. Have you heard of Miracle Mornings? That’s what got me started with a morning routine.

  3. I think you have some very interesting and helpful tips! I am NOT, repeat NOT a morning person. However, this might help me make a bigger effort to try! Thank you!

  4. Summer of 69 is suuuuch a good song. Lol. I love this list. I wish I could get up and start my day alone and taking a ME moment. But I like to sleep so…

  5. These are really great tips! We usually have a dance party after supper, but I love the idea of doing it right in the morning. Also I agree about meditation and prayer to start your day. Great post!

  6. Every evening before heading to bed, I make a list of the things I need to take care of the following day. For me, it’s the best way to start a new day, with a plan.

  7. I have given up all drinks except water and it is so hard sometimes in the morning! I wish I could find something that wakes me up just as much!

  8. Fun post! Have you read the Miracle Morning? Totally in line with this post – wake up at 5 (or 1 hour before the usual time) and set intentions for your day! Kuddos to you for doing this naturally πŸ™‚

  9. LOVE all of these, they are things I regularly incorporate into my mornings as well – just last night my husband was saying, “I don’t know how you do it! How do you go to sleep after everyone and wake up before everyone and still be nice?!” Hahahaha πŸ˜‰

  10. Great ideas! I find that a planned routine is imperative to having a great morning. Music is a great motivator to getting things rolling.

  11. I’ve been working on getting up earlier… But early for me is 8 AM, haha! I am the first up, though, and I have a much more productive day.

  12. These are great suggestions for starting the day on the best note possible. I have to have coffee in the mornings! But, I do like green tea a little later in the morning!

  13. These are tried and true tips to help jump start the day. Even though I prefer tea (e.g. green tea), there are some mornings that require coffee. πŸ™‚

  14. Getting up before my kids is a big deal for me. I know that when I don’t have that time in the morning for journaling and planing, the rest of the day doesn’t run as smoothly.

  15. Great list!!!! I’m tea obsessed and always start my day with green tea. I swear that stuff works miracles!
